Rice Paper Light Covers – Rice paper could be made to act as a temporary light cover. They would essentially act as a lampshade here. A frame of wood can be used to affix rice paper in creating a versatile lampshade for fluorescent lights. These type of light covers are more flexible in nature and can be used on table lights, wall lights and many other type of light fixtures.

Soffits – This is one of the most popular techniques used in covering fluorescent lights. Soffit is a ledge which would act as a dropped portion from the ceiling. This will help to create a hidden slot for lighting. This type of covering could be made to blend with the wall and ceiling. These coverings are usually built using wood framings, plastic and metal and crewed on to the ceiling. They are built within the edges of the ceiling to house fluorescent lighting systems.
